Country Oaks School offers blended programs that allow young children to be placed in an appropriate class with relation to their own individual developmental level of growth. As educators, we work as a team assessing each child through continual observation, creating a unique learning experience supporting and encouraging each child's individual needs.
Young children form and develop their identity by meeting their needs though positive relationship interaction with encouragement and guidance. Children are able to progress and positively develop through their needs as individuals; basic/physical, safety/protection, love/belonging, recognition/self worth, and self actualization/potential. In order to achieve positive development, a child needs to meet these needs at each level before being able to move on to the next level. With the formation of long-term synchronous relationships or attachment, a child is able to positively succeed socially-emotionally at different ages and stages, by going through positive stages they are challenged and develop life long characteristics for problem solving.
